About the Del Val Parent Group
The Del Val Parent Group was founded more than 10 years ago by parents who were interested in increasing the overall support to the high school community. We are committed to:
- Increasing the communication among the parents, the community and the high school;
- Providing overall support to the students, teachers and the administration;
- Promoting and supporting safe and fun student social events;
- Providing and supporting programs that deal with issues facing parents and teens.
We are not affiliated with any national organizations such as PTA but we share many of their goals as we seek to improve the educational experience for our students at Del Val. We don't hold meetings, never collect dues or run fundraisers. Our primary funding comes from parent donations.
