Ralph Verde Foundation Scholarship

The Ralph Verde Foundation (RVF) is a service-oriented not-for-profit organization dedicated to supporting academic achievement. Established in March of 2012, the Foundation was founded in the memory of Ralph Verde, who passed away of a terminal brain tumor in 2011 while in the midst of completing his senior year at Yale University. Ralph’s belief was that education is the cherished means to any goal. In alignment with this philosophy, the RVF’s mission is to promote student achievement and academic excellence. The aim is to support educational development for children of all ages, reward high-achieving students for their success in the classroom and in the community, and inspire academic excellence by publicizing Ralph’s story. To achieve these goals, the Foundation supports students financially and academically by awarding high achieving high school seniors with college scholarships and, concurrently, sponsoring education-related service activities.
