Welcome to the 2022-23 school year! This is my 10th year teaching at Alexandria Middle School and I am very excited to collaborate with the 7th grade team!

    A little about ME

I received my Bachelors degree from Monmouth University in Mathematics and Elementary Education with endorsements in Middle School Mathematics and Special Education and a minor in Spanish. I also received my Masters degree in Educational Leadership from Montclair State University.

I started teaching at Carteret Middle School after graduating from college. I taught self-contained 6th and 7th grade Mathematics and also in-class support 7th grade Mathematics. At Monmouth University, I was a member of the Track and Field team where I competed in the high jump, long jump, and triple jump. I have coached track and field at the high school level at Carteret High School.

Here at AMS, I have taught 7th grade and also 5th grade in-class support. I have coached soccer and cross country, advised the Newspaper Club and the Homework Completion Program, and have been the Grade Level Team Leader. This year, I am excited to continue as the role of the National Junior Honor Society adviser!

I am an avid runner and enjoy exploring beautiful scenery. I love to travel to various places around the world. Most importantly, I enjoy spending time with my family which includes my husband, daughter Alex, son Beckett, daughter Cale, our two dogs, hamster, and fish!
