    FULL DAY PRE-SCHOOL

The Alexandria Township School district is once again proud to offer an integrated preschool program at Lester D. Wilson Elementary School. We have two programs; 3 year old, 4 year old program.  All programs are designed to incorporate students with special needs and typically developing preschoolers together in a nurturing, language enriched environment. Research has shown that all students benefit from this type of program.

All integrated preschool classes provide a highly structured routine with a focus on language development and literacy, social skills, play, pre-readiness academic skills and fine/gross motor development.  Participating children are active learners in a fun, stimulating and warm environment.

    EARLY INTERVENTION
Our Early Intervention Program helps students gain the necessary skills needed for academic success in reading and mathematics. Students receive supplemental instruction for thirty minutes each day. The instruction is delivered in a small group setting, using multi-sensory techniques to reinforce and extend the kindergarten classroom lessons.
