Middle School Textbooks
In grades 6, 7 and 8, we use the Big Ideas series. Materials can be accessed online including homework hints and some lessons. There is not textbook for this series other than what is online.

Algebra 1 Textbook
If your child is in Algebra 1, he or she can access the textbook online with their username and password or they can use the site for practice quizzes and tests, study hints or vocabulary help. -
First In Math
Each child in grades 1 to 5 has a First in Math user name and password. Follow this link to sign in and practice math facts, problem solving, measurement, and many other activities. Students earn stickers for the accomplishments.If you have an older child who could benefit from First in Math, you can purchase an individual subscription. -
Khan Academy
The Khan Academy videos have been in many new reports recently for their clear, brief explanations of thousands of math topics. These videos can provide students with lesson previews, reviews, or extra examples. Our middle school teachers here use them occasionally in class to help teach topics and they can be used at home to help with tough topics. -
Fact Dash
The sites listed below are other sites that kids find fun and challenging. They have games, lessons, and practice. Some are free, some have free trials and others offer paid memberships. Please keep in mind that content and ads change often, so it has not all been screened. Please check out each site with your child the first few time.
