Welcome to the Visual Art program at Alexandria,
where students learn to think outside the box!
Ms. Rachel Case, Art Teacher PK-8
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Welcome to the 2021-22 school year. Art classes are being held in the art rooms this year! After a year of art-on-a-cart, I am so thankful to be able to have the students come to the art room, where the materials are readily available and I know how to work the smart board!
My goals for every student are to experiment with a variety of materials, processes and concepts, explore historical and contemporary art, develop and share ideas, explore the self, develop thinking and problem-solving skills as well as motor skills, make connections to the real world, and have fun!
Please feel free to contact me at any time!
