• 2022 Registration Information

     

     

    How to Enroll:

    To be eligible for the RVCC Concurrent Enrollment Program you must:

    • Be a high school junior or senior (or sophomore for Honors Pre-calculus)
    • Have a minimum 3.0 GPA (B average)
     

    Application Process To Take RVCC College Classes At My High School (Concurrent Enrollment) 

     

    1) APPLY TO RVCC 

    • APPLY ONLINE to Raritan Valley Community College.
    • FALL/YEAR-LONG 2021-2022 COURSES:

                  Composition & Literature I with Ms. Koep (CRN 16395, ENGL 111, Sec. 86, Eng Comp I, 3 credits)

                  Composition & Literature II with Ms. Hall (CRN X, ENGL 112, Sec. X, Eng Comp II, 3 credits)

                  Contemporary Drama with Mr. Ambs (CRN 17273, THEA 103, Sec. 80, Introduction to Theater, 3 credits)

                  Honors Pre-calculus with Ms. Commeford (CRN 16834, MATH 112, Sec. 81, Pre-calculus I, 3 credits)- Spring Semester available for 3 more credits

                  Environmental Science CP with Ms. Grady (CRN 16832, ENVI 102, Sec. 80X, Environmental Science & Sustainability, 4 credits)

     

    2) DETERMINE COLLEGE PLACEMENT

    • If you are interested in taking an English or Mathematics course you will need to meet an exemption. (SEE BELOW)

      • If you do NOT meet any of these requirements, you can take the ACCUPLACER. 
        • Contact Testing Center | | Raritan Valley Community College, NJ and take the test at RVCC by August 31st

          ENGLISH TESTING PLACEMENT REQUIREMENT:

          • You are required to take the Accuplacer placement tests for English prior to enrolling UNLESS your SAT, ACT or PARCC or NJSLA scores are:

          SAT (after March 1, 2016) Evidence – Based Reading Writing 450 English Composition 1 (ENGL 111)
          ACT Reading 24 English Composition 1 (ENGL 111)
          PARCC or NJSLA English Literacy Arts grade 10 or grade 11, 4 or 5 English Composition 1 (ENGL 111)

           

          MATH TESTING PLACEMENT REQUIREMENT:

          • You are required to take the Accuplacer placement tests for mathematics prior to enrolling UNLESS your SAT, ACT or PARCC or NJSLA scores are:
