Hello amazing 3rd Graders,

My name is Mrs. Markovich, and I am so excited to have the opportunity to be your teacher in 3rd grade.  I hope you are enjoying your summer vacation and relaxing. While I love summer, I am looking forward to our time together learning so many new and exciting things. I can’t wait for you to see your new classroom and for us to get started!

I wanted to share a little information about myself to help us get to know each other better. I have been married to my husband Chris for 22 years and I have three wonderful sons, Christopher, Thomas, and Jack. This school year my house will be a little quieter as 2 of my sons will be off to college and my 3rd son, Jack, is going to be a freshman in high school. Some of my favorite things to do other than being a teacher are watching my boys play sports and spending time with my family at the beach. 

I can’t wait to get to know all about you and grow together as a class! We have an exciting year planned where we will have opportunities to share our individual talents to become a collaborative group of thinkers and problem-solvers! Get ready to expand your love of reading, writing, math, science, and social studies! 

Please remember to bring your supplies and excitement on the first day! We are going to have a fabulous year together!
