Miss Jessika Beahm
I am so excited to be returning to AMS for another fun-filled year! I began my career at AMS as a practicum student/student-teacher in 2017. I began teaching with Mrs. Romanella in seventh-grade as a science teacher. I then had an amazing opportunity to work with Ms. Schrack and Ms. Grossmann in fourth-grade. During this time, I began my coaching career. I was very fortunate to be hired at the end of my student teaching experience and returned to AMS for the 2018-2019 school year as a fourth-grade teacher and volleyball coach. I am returning again this school year in fourth-grade as a co-teacher with Ms. Canavan.
I have lived in Hunterdon County my entire life. I attended Holland Township School from kindergarten to eighth grade. I then moved onto Del Val where I graduated in 2013. Next, my path took me to Centenary University where I attended as a triple major. Throughout high school and part of college, I played volleyball. I will be coaching the 2019 AMS volleyball team. I now am back living in Holland Township. I am sure if your child is in my class, you will probably hear about my dog Baloo or my car. I have a Great Dane who is the biggest love but lacking in intelligence so, I always have silly stories about him. I also have a Leopard Gecko named Remy and a Beta fish named Stitch. If you may have noticed, I am a huge Disney fan. I am a diehard New England Patriots fan and yes I am ready for all of the smack talk since we are in Eagles, Giants, Jets, and Steelers territory. (No, I am not a ban waggoner. I was born into a Patriots family). I spend a lot of my time outside of school with my family and friends. I love learning anything new and am always up for an adventure! Some of my hobbies include hiking, baking, volleyball, rock climbing, horseback riding (with Ms. Canavan), reading, and much much more! You may see me around Holland Township walking Baloo, at Jimmys, or even RRCC.
