DEL VAL SEEKS DONORS FOR CELEBRATION OF ITS DIAMOND JUBILEE JAMBOREE IN MAY
Delaware Valley High School is seeking sponsors for its Diamond Jubilee Jamboree, which is set for Saturday, May 16.
“To the best of my knowledge, this is the first opportunity Delaware Valley has taken to celebrate a milestone with an event of this magnitude,” says Superintendent Daria Wasserbach. “What a perfect time to include the community in celebration of six decades of Delaware Valley and all who have supported and contributed to make us who we are today, and to launch us into the next 60 years. Plus, who doesn't love a free, fun-for-the-whole-family day that ends with a beautiful fireworks display?!”
The Jamboree will take place at the football field and feature live entertainment, contests, delicious food, local organizations, vendors and loads of activities for children and adults. The rain date is May 17.
Various sponsorship packages are available, ranging from Platinum for $1,000 donors to Bronze for $100 donors, although any contribution will be gratefully received. Potential donors might include local business, parents or alumni.

Del Val opened in September of 1959 and graduated its first class in 1960. Its predecessor was Frenchtown High School, which was owned by the borough. The sending districts – Alexandria, Holland, Kingwood and Milford – paid tuition. In the face of overcrowding and limited acreage at FHS, it was decided that there should be a new school, owned by all five municipalities, and built out in the country with room for expansion and athletics. The new school inherited most of the faculty and the Terrier as its spirit animal.#dvdiamondjubilee
