Dear Athletes and Parents:

The Delaware Valley High School Athletic Program is an integral component of the district’s educational experience and plays a vital role in the development of our students as scholars, athletes, and citizens. Participation in athletics supports the growth of students physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially while fostering character, leadership, teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.

The Delaware Valley athletic program provides student-athletes with meaningful opportunities to compete, collaborate, and develop lifelong skills through healthy and respectful competition. Membership on an athletic team carries significant responsibilities and expectations, both on and off the field, court, track, or mat. Student-athletes serve as ambassadors of Delaware Valley High School and are expected to represent themselves, their team, their school, and their community with integrity, respect, and exemplary conduct at all times.

Participation in interscholastic athletics is a privilege, and with that privilege comes the responsibility to uphold the standards and values of the Delaware Valley School District. Through dedication, commitment, and teamwork, student-athletes contribute to a positive and successful athletic culture.

It is our hope that every student-athlete enjoys the excitement of competition, the camaraderie of team membership, and the personal growth that comes from athletic participation. We trust that your experience in Delaware Valley athletics will foster a lifelong appreciation for sports, wellness, teamwork, and the pursuit of excellence.

Sincerely,

Lance Jacobs, Athletic Director
